Zombies In The Heartland (2022)
The Zombies In The Heartland 3-Gun hosted 228 competitors at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, Nebraska. There were 70 in the Amateur “Run What Ya Brung” division, 70 in Open, 14 in PCC and 74 in Tactical.

Dave as usual the forks at Zombies in the Heartland 3 Gun were absolutely wonderful, they provided a fun 10 stages of challenging courses of fire. There were no long-distance stages this made for a fast and furious style of 3-gun drag racing thru some interesting obstacles with motorcycle props , automobile boneyard, graveyards along with a multi-target swingers prop with headshots on all targets in every stage that calls on shooting accuracy to eliminate the Zombie hoards.
All the staff and volunteers working the event were helpful and friendly keeping the match moving well for 3 days of shooting, the match sponsor provided a nice BBQ lunch at the pavilions for everyone each day and the weather was beautiful all weekend.
Hats off to Steve Hornady for providing a fun 3-gun match for all levels of competitors Professional to Armature everyone had a great time and got to compete at their level. Thank You Hornady for this match……I’ll be back!
