338: Modified Division National Debut with Adam Maxwell

Dots on pistols, especially dots on 2011 pistols, have been a boiling hot topic in the shooting sports over the last year plus. Seeing the popularity of Carry Optics Division in USPSA and slide-mounted red dots on carry and duty guns, I proposed updating Tac Ops division late last year and elaborated on it earlier this year.

Minnesota Tri-Gun recognized Modified Optic division for 2022 that is remarkably similar to the division I outlined and it was well attended in its first year. Adam Maxwell shot that division and RO’d the match so he’s here to talk about the differences between Tac Ops and Modified. We also talk about how the division changed up the game and what the future holds for Modified Optic.
